I've been neglecting my blog this month...
Here is part of my Halloween costume...I was a goth fairy! The wings are huge (downside: people kept bumping into them). But I won 1st place in a costume contest!
I'm working on a novel for Nanowrimo right now...I'm a little over 40,000 words behind though. But it's a fanfic based on The Secret of the Unicorn Queen books for girls from the
late 1980s. I made a banner for it, which I'm pretty pleased with. My graphic art skills have come a looooong way.I made a great graphic for my Christmas cards this year...unfortunately, my printer has died.
Nice wings. Grats on the first place. I will confer with your earlier statement. Your graphics skills have come along way...lol. Maybe one day you'll make me something personalized for my blog. *winks* P.S. Alexis wants to know why you call your blog Hidden Doors.
ReplyDeleteLol, well, finding Gimp (free art program, sort of like Paint Shop Pro) was one of the best things I ever did. Before that all my digital art had to be done in Windows Paint (which pretty much sucks).

Hidden Doors came about from an idea I had for a craft project that I never got around to doing. It was a haunted house with a bunch of hidden doors in it.
You should do a post on how that name came about. Mine wouldn't be such and interesting story cuz it was just the best fitting thing for someone who likes vintage sewing.
